HTF's One Timer (Rune) x SH's Crouching Tiger of GFX (Dragon) - 9.5 weeks
born 6/7/09 · Dark sable jill - This is one easy baby. She loves the people, loves the toys and talks happily to herself as she plays.
Update: This little delight found tragedy shortly after these pictures were taken. We came home from dog training and found her flat out on her side in the pen she shared with her siblings. She was doing the infamous sleeping-not-dead routine, except this time it was for real. As close as we can guess, she was eating out of the ceramic crock and her rowdy siblings landed on her neck, paralyzing her. Over a long 6 weeks, she very slowly regained a little bit of movement or a tiny glimmer of hope each day. She needed hand feeding and she needed to be cleaned up after, but she seemed ok with things so I just kept her going and hoped for the best. By 6 weeks post-injury, she was getting around the cage pretty well and things were looking pretty hopeful for a decent quality of life. No sooner did we think she'd end up ok when she started to regress rapidly. Over the course of 48 hours, she reverted to completely limp again. This time her eyes told me there would be no second miracle, it was time to let her go. I really miss her.
